Our School-based Health Education Program annually reaches over 2,000 students within our partnered schools. Our comprehensive approach helps students, parents, and the greater community to combat the wide range of physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs that arise from difficult daily living conditions.

Psychological First-Aid & Counselings
capracare's Psychological First Aid (PFA) program provides ongoing psychological and emotional support to individuals affected by the earthquake who need emotional support. Our program focuses on education and support designed to empower our staff with the skills to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
Auricular Acupuncture
Acupuncture in the ear is a powerful, simple, and safe way to help “reset” the nervous systems and restore recipients to a more significant state of calm, quiet, and clarity. The devastating effects of trauma and suffering are reduced, which helps individuals and communities find balance.
Yoga
Our introductory Yoga classes for youth promote strength, flexibility, and coordination. Boys and girls are separated into ages 5-12 and 13-19 years old.
